Position Responsibilities:

• Scheduling patients for physical and orthopedic occupational therapy at ORA Physical Therapy clinics and other facilities where applicable
• Providing patients with information about ORA Physical Therapy services, physical therapists, and what to expect
• Tracking inbound capture rate on a periodic basis; responsible for meeting patient capture rate metrics
• Sending therapy orders to outbound therapy clinics when applicable
• Responsible for administration of the patient therapy orders que and pending insurance verifications and authorizations
• Assisting with verifying insurance benefits and authorizations
• Assists in the administration of FOTO and FOTO systems
• Updating and maintaining all therapy scheduling coordinator systems and spreadsheets
• Maintaining patient confidentiality and complying with all HIPPA rules and regulations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Customer service and appointment scheduling experience in a medical office or therapy clinic preferred
• Knowledge of customer service principles and techniques
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and interact with patients, families, and staff
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively and accurately
