The Northwestern University Center for Outcomes Research and Education (NUCORE) in the Department of Medical Social Sciences aims to establish itself as a leader in advancing and applying outcomes/effectiveness research to the implementation and delivery of person-centered care and a patient's quality of life. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced temporary project manager to lead a website redesign project. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the project from start to finish, ensuring that all deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. In addition, the project manager will be responsible for helping with the competitive bidding process, working with vendors to obtain bids, and facilitating the selection of the best vendor for the project. Other project management work may be assigned if time is available. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the implementation of patient-reported outcome measures around the world and promote patient-centered care.

Please note: This is a temporary position expected to last for the first phase of the project, with an estimated duration of 6 months. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure the successful completion of the website redesign project. Responsibilities:

• Create and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, such as center business units, to ensure project goals align with business objectives.
• Collaborate with external vendors and agencies to manage the competitive bidding process.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and select the best fit for the project.
• Develop project documentation, such as project plans, status reports, and change requests.
• Monitor project progress and identify and address potential issues or roadblocks.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and management.
• Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Conduct project meetings and facilitate communication between project team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as project management, business administration,
• At least 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in website redesign or development projects with focus on UX/UI design.
• Demonstrated experience managing competitive bidding processes and selecting vendors.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles and best practices, and the ability to collaborate with web designers and developers to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Experience working in an agile project management environment is a plus.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.

MS Office suite 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
