Role & Summary Statement

The Techno Functional Consultant position at Wipro is focused on providing consulting and technology services across the Wealth management domain with expertise in Trust Business. The experience in SWPR application will be added advantage. The Candidate will collaborate with different teams, create the solution and present these solutions to the Technology team of the customer and help build a relationship. You will be a key contributor and innovator while providing a strong consulting and technical experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Domain:

• Techno functional consultant with expertise in Wealth Management domain
• Design and create business proposals, executive-level presentations, and team-wide communications
• Provide structure and communication around new product launches and help drive platform conversions
• Develop a detailed understanding of current-state processes and identify opportunities for improvement and drive initiatives; develop and maintain a deep understanding of our product offering and trading processes
• Good understanding of Banking concepts and able to lead strategic discussion with Business team.
• Experience with SEI’s SWP/SWPR
• Experience with SEI SWP core modules, Statements, client extracts, reporting is desirable

Technical:

• Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL Programming (Packages, procedures, functions, Triggers, Ref cursors, Analytical functions, etc.. )
• Knowledge of creating and maintaining tables, views, Partitioning, Indexes. in a large database environment
• Performance Tuning experience (Indexing, Ability to interpret explain plan and other performance improvement approaches)
• Flashback
• Be able to coach/train other developers.
• Perform code reviews for the team to identify potential performance issues or to suggest better design approach.
• Ability to understand the requirement and design efficient DB solution to meet the business need.
• We also host data in Microsoft SQL Server, so having knowledge is a plus.
• Create custom applications in .NET utilizing Visual Studio.
• Logging, Monitoring, Alerting

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• This position is located in Minneapolis, MN Candidates must be located within commuting distance or be willing to relocate to the area.
• Minimum 10-12 years of IT experience (preferable in Wealth management domain).
• Minimum of five years of Business/technology experience within wealth management/trust, registered investment advisor, broker/dealer working environment is preferred.
• S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply, we can also sponsor Visa for eligible candidates.
• Past work experience working in Wealth management domain (especially Trust Accounts/Business)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working in Trust Account/Business.
• Understanding of securities processing and trust accounting.
• Aspires to continue to improve technical and business development skills and knowledge
• Team player that enjoys working in fast paced environment
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills with a heavy emphasis on Excel.
