Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Grain Size inspection per standard work
  • Prep known spots on parts to standard for viewing with a microscope
  • Review grain / microstructure and compare to standard industry charts
  • Enter result data into Solumina
  • Perform tensile testing per standard work
  • Receive in and perform final inspection/measurements of tensile test specimens
  • Reviewing and reporting of tensile data
  • Fabrication of thermocouples
  • Perform stress rupture/creep testing per standard work
  • Receive in and perform final inspection/measurements of stress rupture/ creep test specimens
  • Review and prepare reporting of stress rupture/creep data
  • Fabrication of thermocouples
  • Be able to work in a team environment and handle multi-tasking duties.
  • Required to successfully pass annual vision screening.
  • Knowledge of SAP and Solumina.
  • Understanding of internal and external customer requirements with a high attention to detail in resolving findings.
  • Results focused work ethic to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Be able to follow written/verbal procedures and instructions.
  • Follow all EH&S rules and guidelines.
  • Support CORE and continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma and/or equivalent
  • US Citizenship required due to government contract

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prefer Quality inspection experience
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed technical specifications and drawings
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong presentation, planning, problem solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Possess good people and communication skills.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
