JOB SUMMARY
This position will provide clinical support for all Enteral related needs in partnership with all relative parties that interact with the Enteral business. It will supervise full-time/part-time employees who are in contact with our patients and customers in person and via email, phone, live chat and other methods. Most importantly, this position provides guidance and leadership for staff to ensure employees are achieving customer happiness through effective communication, problem solving, and efficient processes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage teams reviewing new patients orders and documentation submitted by referral sources to obtain required documentation and clinical requirements of individual health insurance plans, allowing our patients to maximize their available health plan benefits and to receive the much-needed care as soon as possible.
  • Assisting patients by coordinating medical equipment and supply necessary to support the patient’s travel needs, including branch-to-branch coordination or other efforts.
  • Provide accountability for Enteral team, coach, and develop staff.
  • Manage collaborative business relationships internally within the department and externally with our Apria partners through close collaboration, partnership, engagement and communication.
  • Maintain the formula and supply libraries
  • Clinical Subject Matter Expert Support to Compliance, Managed Care, Procurement, Process Content and other groups as needed
  • May be required to provide subject matter expert support to clients and suppliers on occasion
  • Assist with development of training materials as well as training support as needed
  • This position supervises direct reports and is responsible for the performance management, coaching and hiring within the team.
  • Managing or supporting Customer Service and other voice teams as required
  • Performs other duties as required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • This position supervises all direct reports of the department and is responsible for the performance management, hiring, and discipline of direct reports within the department.
  • Provides direction and guidance in work assignments.
  • Provides timely coaching and feedback to staff.
  • Ensures work assignments are completed accurately, efficiently and timely.
Minimum Required Qualifications (External):
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related field
  • At least two years of Enteral and Parenteral nutrition support experience

OR

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations
  • Current registered dietitian license in state(s) of practice.
  • Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
  • Strong clinical knowledge and skills,
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills, leadership and management ability and skills.
Computer Skills
  • Basic computer skills desirable
Language Skills
  • English (reading, writing, verbal)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. It also may require occasional lifting, carrying, walking, climbing, kneeling, bending/stooping, twisting, pulling/pushing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching above the shoulder. This position also may require the occasional lifting of equipment up to 50 lbs.
