Job Title: Team Leader GTS Program Management

Job Summary
Supervise, develop and maintain all day-to-day functions and activities essential to the success of the Gas Transportation Programs for multiple states (CKY, CMD, COH, CPA, and CGV). Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders as needed. Oversee the effort in mentoring, training, and providing guidance and direction to the GTS Account Specialists.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and support the corporate vision as it relates to the gas transportation programs throughout the state jurisdictions
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external audiences and continue to proactively look for ways to enhance the customer experience
  • Supervise multi-faceted projects with internal/external groups, including execution and implementation
  • Ensure the winter operations plan/training is updated and communicated annually in preparation for emergency response
  • Proactively lead and/or participate on internal and/or external cross functional teams to improve processes and/or resolve issues related to the gas transportation programs
  • Proactively support internal/external parties as necessary including rate case support and responses to interrogatories
  • Actively participate in rate case strategy meetings, providing information and tariff revision recommendations as necessary
  • Manage customer and supplier billing questions and ensure that all prebilling reports and associated billing errors are completed and resolved on time and in accordance with applicable Tariff provisions
  • Participate in regulatory collaborative efforts within each jurisdiction
  • Proactively lead in the evaluation of design changes related to compliance with state and federal regulations and regulatory initiatives (defining program changes, testing and implementation) as necessary
  • Ensure contracts/agreements, files, reports, data requests, billing data, etc., are prepared timely and accurately and are in compliance with legal and state regulatory and in accordance with the applicable Tariff provisions
  • Oversee the timely and accurate response to internal and external inquiries regarding the gas transportation programs
  • Ensure internal and external compliance with state tariff rules and regulations
  • Cultivate business relationships with customers, marketers/suppliers, regulatory bodies, and other internal/external contacts as needed to successfully supervise the gas transportation programs
  • Provide input and information used in state and federal regulatory proceedings
  • Foster teamwork among Customer Programs and Billing and other internal departments/personnel to ensure operational goals/service objectives are met
  • Maintain superior gas transportation tariff and industry knowledge through training and work experience
  • Participate in any and all teams/projects and meetings related to programs and job duties
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Investigate and solve all internal and external stakeholder inquiries in a timely and accurate fashion
  • Provide training to potential suppliers as required
  • Deliver results that meet or exceed business plans/operational goals
  • Participate in cross-training within the department to ensure knowledgeable staff
  • Supervise, coach and train the GTS Account Specialists, including the development and review of performance measures
  • Motivate and involve others to make, or respond favorably to, changes and improvements
  • All other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications for Position
  • Requires BS/BA degree or comparable industry-related work experience
  • Frequent travel may be required
  • High accountability for job execution, project management and performance
  • Frequent time may be required outside of traditional business hours
  • May be required to be on call during seasonal period
