Location: South High School - Auditorium

Job Description:

- Set-up and run sound/lights for rentals, concerts, assemblies and events in auditorium (including, but not limited to: Fashion Show, guest speakers, graduations, etc.)

- Serve as contact point for outside rentals – scheduling space, attending rehearsals and performances/events

- Recruit, schedule and oversee student crew (and other staff) for all production/events (during rehearsal and performances)

- Oversee load-in, set-up, and strike down for all productions/events (including equipment rental)

- Maintain inventory of auditorium electrics, expendables, and equipment, and place orders when needed

- Manage records of purchasing, compliance, rental agreements, etc.

Requirements: Applicant MUST be NYS Teacher or Teaching Assistant certified. 60 college credits and two years of satisfactory experience in the operation and care of lighting and audio equipment used in theatrical productions are highly preferred.

Hours: 6 hours/day, M – F, 11:00 am – 5:00 pm
Ten-month position, subject to annual reappointment

Effective: Immediately – End of School Year

Salary: In accordance with existing salary schedule
