At Wilson Winery, we are well known for our delicious, award-winning Zinfandels and our exceptional hospitality. Our Company is family owned and operated, and our wines are lovingly crafted by Diane Wilson.

We have an opportunity for an outgoing, service-minded individual to join our friendly and knowledgeable sales team Friday - Sunday. If you are passionate about wine and are committed to providing exceptional hospitality, we’d like to meet you!

Minimum and Preferred Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Previous tasting room sales experience preferred.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to present product, up sell & cross sell.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greets guests upon entry & provides experiences that build brand loyalty.
• ID guests to ensure each is of legal age to consume alcohol.
• Shares appropriate information and educates guests about the wines, brand history and sister wineries.
• Promotes the sale of wine products, pursues sales opportunities and encourages customers to purchase wines and join the wine club.
• Accurately completes end-of-the-day reports.
• Performs opening and closing procedures.
• Maintains physical inventory of merchandise items and restocks wine in the tasting room as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

• Communicate effectively with guests and team members
• Use arms, hands and fingers.
• Hear/listen, speak, taste and smell.
• Accurately enter information into our POS system.
• Stand, move, walk, and sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Lift/move/carry 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Stoop, kneel, crouch and climb.

California Pay Transparency Disclaimer: This is a Non Exempt position. The pay range is $18 to $24. Actual placement within the range will be contingent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, education, and experience.
