OVERVIEW

American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) is an industry-leading battery metal and critical materials

technology development and commercialization company. Our Pilot Plant in Fernley, Nevada will be the first integrated implementation of our multi-step processing train for the full mechanical processing, physical separations, chemical extractions, and production of commercial-scale battery metals that will be resold back into the battery manufacturing supply chain to enact a low-cost, low environmental impact, and domestically sourced closed-loop circular economy.

ABOUT THE JOB

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing Human Resources Team. This role will be critical in supporting our growth and will have a significant impact on our company. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting, managing recruitment activities and campaigns to attract the best talent for our Pilot Plant in Fernley, NV, our lab at UNR, and our HQ in Reno, NV. This position will report to the Director of Human Resources.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, implement, and maintain recruiting programs
• Provide full cycle recruitment support to managers
• Onboard and conduct new hire orientations
• Effectively and efficiently source and screen candidates
• Create and manage diverse talent pipelines
• Develop and manage an internship program, to include attending job fairs and other events
• Provide excellent internal and external customer service
• Provide back up support to the Human Resources Team as needed
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Human Resources, or related field, or the equivalent combination of experience and education
• 2+ years of technical recruitment/talent acquisition experience
• Experience using advanced sourcing techniques such as LinkedIn Networking and other social media platforms
• Strong interviewing, negotiation, and closing skills
• Must be resourceful with strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English)
• Proficient in all MS products
• Must be team-oriented and demonstrate the ability to work with cross-functional team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with a start-up company
• Experience recruiting in Lithium battery industries
