COMPENSATION

Part-Time/Seasonal: $19.00-$21.00/hour

SUMMARY

Premier Aquatics is currently hiring a Talent Acquisition Assistant for our Orange County locations. We are looking for an individual who is outgoing, reliable, good at communication, and has previous experience in talent acquisition or human resources. In this role, you will be supervised by the Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Manager and Regional Talent Acquisition Specialist, and assist with the interview and onboarding process for new and returning staff. As a Talent Acquisition Assistant, you will phone screen new applicants, assist with virtual and in-person interview, conduct new and returning staff orientations, and complete other office duties as assigned. This is a seasonal position and will last through the duration of our summer months.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Attend and assist with planning of job fairs
  • Assist with the recruitment process for Orange County
  • Assist with the employee onboarding experience for new hires including certification courses and orientations
  • Set up and conduct Employee Orientation as needed
  • Confirm candidates obtain required certification for their position following completion of their certification course
  • Maintain and track all uniform inventory for each region, including preparing for orientations
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

PHYSICAL

  • Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job and to move or lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to move freely about the office or facility(ies) for the duration of the duration of the workday
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum

  • Have a high school diploma
  • Reliable transportation and have a valid California Drivers License
  • Ability to work independently, under supervision, and in a team
  • Comfortable using/learning Microsoft Suite and other various technologies
  • Comfortable talking in front of and leading groups of people
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Candidate must be enthusiastic, outgoing, and have a willingness to interact with the public
  • Good communication with a variety of demographics

Preferred

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field
  • Previous recruiting and/or background in training other team members
