JOB DESCRIPTION:

Cleans and sweeps floors, walls, equipment, spouts and other designated surfaces and disposes of materials as instructed.

JOB DUTIES:

• 
  Sweeps and cleans floors, walls, and any other surfaces as designated by supervisor.
• Feeds product back into mill process as instructed by supervisor.
• Collects all waste material and removes to proper place.
• Assists Operator in time of trouble. Does not answer bell but assists when Operator so requests.
• Cleans roofs and perimeter areas where such areas present a sanitation problem
• Monitors and maintains rodent control measures.
• Inspects and maintains fire extinguishers.
• Records data and maintains records as instructed.
• Performs janitorial duties as assigned. This includes but is not limited to maintaining cleanliness in and about offices, lunchrooms, restrooms and locker room areas.
• Applies pesticides to floor areas, buildings and equipment as assigned.
• Four (4) Sweepers will be designated as Fumigators and perform fumigating duties as assigned.
• Changes air filters for air conditioners and equipment or area pressurization or vacuum systems.
• Performs miscellaneous job related duties as assigned.

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

• 
  Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Knowledge of basic math.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Understanding of basic technology of area where assigned.
• Must have interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.

This position is on 1st shift that starts at 7:00 AM and ends at 3:00 PM. Overtime is required. The hourly rate of pay is $20.84
