Maintains, installs and repairs all surveillance/electronic equipment related to the Oneida Indian Nation Gaming Commission Surveillance operation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintains all surveillance/electronic equipment (i.e. recorders, cameras, workstations, etc.) related to the Oneida Indian Nation Gaming Commission Surveillance operation.
• Performs, wire pulls, cameras installation, camera cleaning, and camera firmware updates.
• Provides technical support and training on equipment to operators and inspectors.
• Terminates cat 6 male and female ends.
• Coordinates project needs and requirements with appropriate departments and outside contractors.
• Keeps technical aspects of the department organized, to include accurate updating filing for all projects, equipment acquisitions, pricing, warranty information, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree in Electronics, equivalent trade school certification or equivalent military certification/training preferred.
• Three to five years’ experience in a related area preferred; prior network/surveillance related field work a plus.
• Have working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards, including (UDP, TCP, DNS, DHCP, and NTP)
• Certifications in Comp Tia or other related technical certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/schematic and flow diagrams required.
• Ability to use hand tools and specialty electronic tools for repair and installation of equipment required.
• Excellent organizational skills and a proven track record of responsibility required.
• Must be able to perform under pressure and to work independently.
• Must possess a valid NYS Driver’s License. Some travel will be required; must be able to work at any Oneida Indian Nation subsidiary property.
• Must be able to successfully apply for and obtain a Class III gaming license which will include a thorough background investigation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.52 - $18.00 per hour
