YOUR MISSION
- This role supports the COBRA PUMA GOLF brand located in Carlsbad, CA.
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods
- Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performance
- Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
- Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy
- Communicate job expectations and coach employees
- Determine staffing levels and assign workload
- Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems
- Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status
- Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
- Confer and coordinate activities with other departments
- Manage, train, and develop material handlers, warehouse staff to run the operation in most efficient way.
- Ability to receive product into ERP system using packing slips
- Loading & Unloading of Product
- Inventory movement from receipt to storage location to production location
- Cycle counting processes and reporting
- Kitting of production work orders
- Discrepant Material Tracking
- Process invoices and verify carton contents and counts against packing slips.
- Lead and participate in cycle counts and inventory audits
- Effectively communicate across cross-functional groups
- Manages all recyclable waste
YOUR TALENT
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Must have a minimum of 5 years related work experience in warehouse operations
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of warehouse supervisory experience.
- Experience managing warehouse personnel and leading teams
- Knowledge of international shipping requirements
- Must be able to obtain a forklift certification and lift up to 50 pounds
- General knowledge of ERP systems helpful
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) as you will be working in a team environment.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Computer skills are required including familiarity with Microsoft Office. Additional preference given for familiarity with manufacturing or ERP systems and data entry and/or collection from such systems.
- Must demonstrate an ability to conduct data collection and measurement activities.
The Hiring range base pay for this position is $57,000 - $79,230 + Bonus + Benefits (https://about.puma.com/en/careers/locations)
Pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
