Job Purpose
The Graduate Enrollment Management (GEM) Student Services Onboarding Specialist is responsible for overseeing the registration, customer service, initiating communication plans and solving graduate student concerns for newly admitted graduate students. In addition, this role collaborates with faculty, advisors, and staff from the programs GEM serves to coordinate the support and retention of graduate students via comprehensive on-boarding initiatives. Frequent interaction with University colleagues is required to be the liaison and advocate of our students to ensure exceptional service is provided and thus positively impacting graduation and retention rates. The Student Services Onboarding Specialist contributes to the institutional goal of overall degree completion by establishing an optimal initial experience and preparation for success in their Gonzaga graduate studies.
