Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Student Assistant (Student Ambassador) for the Office of Enrollment Management within The School of Health Professions. Student Ambassadors promote a sense of community for students enrolled at the Rutgers School of Health Professions. Student Ambassadors serve as positive role models for both current and prospective students.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:

- Calling Prospective Students.
- Conducting Scheduled Campus Tours for prospective students and their families.
- Assist admissions staff with various secretarial/administrative assignments.
- Assist with Open Houses, and any other events hosted or co-hosted by the Admissions Office.
- Greet and provide directions, general information and assistance to visitors, students and staff.
- Maintain and assist with tracking of Admissions Inventory.

Minimum Education and Experience
- Be enrolled full-time at Rutgers, preferably in a SHP academic program.
Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- EM Student Ambassadors are required to maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5.
- EM Student Ambassadors should be willing to engage and interact with a diverse population of students and professionals.

Immunization Requirements
Under Policy 60.1.35 Immunization Policy for Rutgers Employees and Prospective Employees, Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated and have received a booster (where eligible) against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption. Employees who are not eligible for a booster at the time of an offer of employment must provide proof they have received a booster upon eligibility and upload proof of same.
