QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting for a Strategic Analyst to join our team at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA to support our Department of the Army, G-3/5/7 Operations Readiness and Mobilization Support contract.

Duties:

• Participate in studies supporting the Deputy Secretary of Defense Electronic Warfare Executive Committee.
• Support the organization’s involvement in the Army Campaign Plan (ACP) through participation in ACP Executive Sessions.
• Writes weekly executive summaries on key Army engagements, including the Army Campaign Plan Council of Colonels and the Army Synchronization Meeting.
• Facilitates working groups and operational planning teams (OPTs) on priority defense initiatives for the Director of the Army Integration Group.
• Conduct organizational studies and evaluations.
• Conduct work simplification and measurement studies.
• Draft Army EXORDS, FRAGORDS, minutes and EXSUMS.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Detailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficient in planning and execution of working groups and forums at the Colonel through General Officer level.
• Ability to write, edit, and staff strategic documents.
• Must be able to think critically and apply analytical methodologies to raw data to present clear and precise recommendations.
• Must be able to clearly articulate such analysis through both oral and written communication.
• Ability to interact with Senior Members of the Army Staff, to include the Executive Office of the Headquarters.
• Ability to focus on Mission requirements while tracking multiple competing priorities.
• Require minimal supervision in the fast-paced, critical environment of the Army Headquarters.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Prior military service in the Army is preferred.

Required Clearance:

• ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Top Secret w/SCI

Qualifications:

• Master's degree required.
• At least seven (7) years’ related experience, prior military service in the Army is preferred.
• Experience with Army Staff and /or Major Army Commands in operations and strategy.
• Familiarity with Army Strategic Planning System (ASPS).
• Experience with "The Army Plan" consisting of the following sections: Army Vision, Army Strategic Plan, Army Planning Guidance, Army Program Guidance Memorandum, and Army Campaign Plan. Focus on the Army Campaign Plan.

Travel:

Less than 10% travel is expected for this position.

Work Environment:

This position will be co-located with the customer and other contractors in Government office spaces. While not generally authorized, telework may be required due to exceptional circumstances (extreme weather, pandemic, etc.).
