We are hiring for the position of Staff Tax Accountant located in our Brentwood, TN corporate office.


The Staff Tax Accountant will report to the Sr. Manager, Tax and be responsible for preparing and maintaining tax records, returns, reports and other related materials, as well as participate in the development and implementation of tax strategy. The Staff Tax Accountant devises legal means to minimize tax liability using thorough knowledge of tax laws and regulations and recommends alternative tax treatments to alleviate or reduce tax burden.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for preparing of tax compliance concerning federal, state, local and foreign
  • Responsible for identifying and implementing process improvement and automation throughout the tax reporting and filing process to gain efficiencies through innovative technology
  • Assist with quarterly review of fixed assets and tax depreciation expense
  • Assist in handling the correspondence related to federal, state, local, and foreign taxing authorities regarding tax notice resolution
  • Prepare extension and estimated income tax payments for federal, state, local, and foreign jurisdictions


Required Qualifications – Education, Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.


Organizational Leveling:

Requires conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within a job discipline. Performs routine assignments using existing procedures. Receives instruction, guidance, and direction from more senior level roles. Entry level to a professional career progression.
