The Davis Group, and Alpharetta Construction Company, is a privately-owned and vertically integrated commercial real estate land acquisitions, development, construction, and investment company based in Atlanta, GA focused on mixed-use and commercial developments throughout the Southeast, Southwest, and Midwest regions of the United States.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and process accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger functions and account reconciliations.

Analyze and track job cost trends for multiple projects.

Manage monthly and quarterly financial reporting and statements.

Maintain accurate account reconciliations.

Bi-weekly payroll reporting.

Work with third party CPA for all tax reporting requirements.

Process Draw Schedule.

Required Qualifications:

3 or more years of related experience in the construction industry.

Experience with SAGE 100 Contractor Software, QuickBooks and Excel required.

Highly motivated and self-directed.

Superior communications, time management and organizational skills.

Excellent technical, problem solving and decision-making skills.

Knowledge of the Commercial Real Estate and Construction industry.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or a closely related field preferred.

Ability to manage the overall administrative needs of a 10+ person office.

Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

Strong skills and ability to understand, prepare, and present advanced financial proforma models in Excel.

Position requires traveling, valid U.S. Driver’s License is required.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

High level of proficiency and application of real estate laws, real estate development practices, financial proforma models, and experience in the negotiation of real estate documents.

Strong technology skills and experience with mapping and demographic software and platforms.

Excellent knowledge and application of commercial land site selection, site development, and land use zoning processes.
