We currently have an opportunity to join our Finance team in a Staff Accountant role and hope to find someone to help us deliver memorable experiences to our colleagues, vendors, and patrons.

On a typical day, you will:

  • Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
  • Verifies and completes payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures costs are charged to the appropriate arrangements.
  • Reconcile monthly corporate credit cards and expense reports.
  • Prepare journal entries, analyses, and accounting reconciliations and assist with monthly close processes.
  • Process biweekly payroll for 100+ employees and weekly union payroll.
  • Prepare and distributes departmental spending reporting at month end.
  • Respond to information requests, review financial statements, and assist with audits.
  • Load budget information into QB for use in budget vs. actual reporting.

Join us if you possess the following:

  • 3+ years of progressive experience, which may include responsibilities in cash management, forecasting, budgeting, and accounting functions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred or a combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working with QuickBooks Pro software.
  • Ability to analyze financial statements
  • Understanding of GAAP, FASB, and non-profit accounting principles.
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Agility to manage multiple projects of varying priorities simultaneously
  • Non-Profit accounting experience is highly desired

Pay: Up to $65,000.00 per year
