You enjoy working with numbers and will manage and report on purchasing-related financial items such as budgets and cost savings.

You have a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business or related field. You have a minimum of five years of experience in procurement, supply chain or related field.

You embrace technology and have experience with Microsoft products. You are a fast learner and will be able follow instructions to self-teach industry specific software.

You can influence, negotiate, and make recommendations effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

What you will own

As a Sourcing Manager you will implement strategic sourcing initiatives. You will establish the sourcing strategy for purchased commodities, goods, and services with an emphasis on cost reduction, reliable supply, and improved efficiency.

You will be accountable for understanding key business drivers and strategies.

You will manage and develop the sourcing team and be accountable to deliver overall performance of the sourcing team. You will drive the overall team engagement with other areas of the company as well as with external suppliers.

You will establish performance goals for the materials team.

You will continuously improve the performance of the supply base by maintaining ethical business relationships with suppliers, and by developing and executing supplier metrics and analytics including scorecards, cost savings and other value-added measures.

You will be responsible for conflict resolution of supplier issues. You will measure risks to supply base and create contingency plans to mitigate those risks.

You will create and execute commodity strategies and manage all aspects of supplier bidding and negotiation in a manner that achieves set objectives.

You negotiate and manage contracts for purchases of goods and services.

You will manage and report on the purchasing budget and cost savings initiatives.
