We are a 3D printing startup that specializes in selling, printing, and servicing. As we have been growing, we have needed to match our growth with a passionate and driven social media manager. We are looking for a likeminded individual who is looking to expand their skills and help grow a startup to even higher grounds. This position will be part-time initially and will start in-person. The position eventually can be accomplished fully remote.

We are looking for someone who has either previous experience in 3D printing or a passion for this field. Our hire will be working in a social position as the face of our company. A positive attitude and drive to help people would be preferred. Our startup is a relaxed environment where care, quality, and value are the most important aspects.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • Experience with various social media (IE. Instagram, Facebook, Discord)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite or it's direct counterparts
  • Experience in photography or an interest in product photography
  • Passion for 3D printing
  • Transportation to our San Marcos Office

Daily Expectations:

This position will be part-time to start so daily expectations will only apply to some of the week.

This position will require active participation in online social media groups pertaining to our company and related ones. The goal is to increase our social media presence while maintaining a good relationship with our existing community. We expect to have social media metrics tracked and to have bimonthly meetings on progress and plans.

This position will also require active posting to social media of updates from our company as well as organic posts involving fun 3D prints and projects (These can be projects our team have produced or ones that you find interesting). We are all here to grow together and we are keen to help every step of the way.

Finally, we expect this position to handle all incoming phone calls and inquiries from customers. Our current rate of customer inquiries is manageable by less than an hour a day of work at the moment, but we expect this to increase and will hire a dedicated customer support team in the future to accommodate. Any technical questions can be handed over to our technicians to answer, but this position will be our "front of house" and serve as the interface to our community. For now, we would like to develop best practices and a good workflow for handling customers.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
