Candidates will be required to understand the following operational needs: They must be proficient in the Log Pro system to place finished packaged products into open warehousing slots in a timely and safe manner; VTR pallets or products to better utilize warehouse slots; plan loads, allocate, pick, load trailers with correct labels, amounts, code dates and must ensure that all trailers are clean and units are set to proper temperature prior to loading. Ensure the loads are clean, wrapped properly, placed on the trailer following correct load specifications, finalizing of finished goods trailers and onsite/offsite driving responsibilities. Take cooler inventories and monitor cooler for proper temperatures. They will work directly with cooler load out/drivers, production, manufacturing, and WWTP personnel to ensure an efficient operation. Will be required to have a forklift license and perform daily forklift inspections. Operate shrink-wrap machine when required. Ensure required pallet configuration is correct according to case size and label. Make sure the cases are coded clearly and correctly with the proper labels. Supply good pallets to all production lines. Work with Palletizers and Cooler staff to ensure an efficient operation and assist as needed. Assist production floor as needed. Maintain all documented information as per SQF requirements. Keep all work areas neat and clean at all times, to conform to GMP and SQF requirements. Understand and follow all safety procedures, always wear proper PPE, and never put yourself or other employees in harm’s way. Must stay until job is completed or relieved. Must perform any other assignments by a Manager, Supervisor, or Foreman. This description is not all inclusive and is subject to change.
