Shipping & Receiving Coordinator Position Summary:
This role will support the Stamping business unit and be responsible for performing a combination of shipping and receiving duties, inventory manangement and record keeping while adhering to company processes.
Responsibilities:

Shipping & Receiving Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Ship and package product
  • Receive and inspect raw materials and shop supplies
  • Read and comply with work instructions, set up sheets, and checklists
  • Enter production information into the ERP (Epicor) system on a timely basis
  • Accurately records and reports hours worked
  • Adhere to all safety policies; includes wearing personal protective equipment when required
  • Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements
  • Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work
  • Maintain an organized work area (5S)
  • Participate in the Operational Excellence Program
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
Qualifications:

Shipping & Receiving Coordinator Position Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in shipping and receiving
  • Fork truck certification
  • Demonstrated experience experience processing shipments and receiving deliveries
  • Ability to occasionally: lift 10-50lbs, carry 10-50lbs and to stand, bend and stoop
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask

Physical & Environmental Demands:

Cretex Companies use cutting oils, solvents, and other chemicals in the manufacturing process. Testing is conducted on a periodic basis to ensure that all chemicals are kept well below the OSHA permissible exposure levels.
