Location: This role is Hybrid (onsite 2-3x per week) and can be based in Wood Dale, IL or Grand Rapids, MI.

THIS JOB IS A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO:

The Sr. Talent Program Manager, DEI will bring thought leadership, people-first philosophy, and process discipline to advance the diversity and inclusion efforts for the group of businesses under the Product Identification platform. This position will be responsible for aligning and executing a cohesive approach that integrates new and existing corporate initiatives, policies, programs, systems, and procedures that cultivate an environment where all can thrive.

A significant part of this role will be in assisting and promoting the development of training programs that improve associate understanding of inclusion issues. The DEI Sr. Talent Manager will have significant accomplishments in talent program management to further advance DEI engagement across the organization, which include establishing methods for tracking progress, monitoring the success of programs, and other actions that promote diversity throughout the company.

WITHIN YOUR ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Partner with senior leadership, group executive team, and corporate DEI team to develop and drive DEI strategy and initiatives that align with business goals. This will include an assessment of the current state, analysis, and reporting, recommendations for future programs and practices, and strategies to plan for the future.
  • Develop and maintain organizational metrics, provide appropriate updates on progress, recommend actions to support the achievement of goals, and assess the overall effectiveness of DEI initiatives.
  • Initiates and manages DEI projects and initiatives, tracks progress against goals, and manages resource requests related to DEI needs. Gathers lessons learned and obtains final project approval from sponsor and stakeholders.
  • Assess organizational efforts in support of the DEI program, establish best practices, and identify initiatives and programs to remove barriers that affect staff retention and advancement.
  • Collaborate with the communication team to support and drive the DEI strategy through various internal and external campaigns.
  • Collaborate with members of the HR team in the development of DEI initiatives that overlap with talent acquisition, learning & development, and performance management.
  • Keeps current with, identifies, and shares global diversity, equity, and inclusion-related trends and benchmarking.
  • build partnerships with external stakeholders.
  • Ability to balance organizational change needs with organization readiness to ensure DEI strategy is both achievable and successful while stretching the organization to advance our DEI journey.
  • Ensure alignment with business policies, practices, and external regulatory expectations.
  • Collaborate to ensure strong DEI focus within Corporate Social Responsibility, Supplier Diversity, and other marketplace-specific areas of opportunity.
  • External Community: Establish robust external partnerships through participation in councils, conferences, task forces, and professional affiliations as required to strengthen DEI solutions, perceptions, and impact with Videojet and external audiences.

YOUR EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE WILL INCLUDE:

  • 5+ years operating effectively as a talent program manager/leader in a global, multi-site, high-performance organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills to work and influence senior business leaders and understand the implications their actions will have on the organizational demands of an evolving organization.
  • Experience facilitating organizational change activities and driving the adoption of processes and behaviors.
  • Possess a strong mix of analytical sharpness and intuitive, creative pattern formation in problem-solving.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally 25% of the time.
