Senior Revenue Accountant - Fort Lauderdale, FL
SAFEbuilt is currently looking for a Senior Revenue Accountant to support the overall goals and objectives of the Accounting department. Candidate should have strong Billing and Accounts receivable experience, as well as overall accounting knowledge to include Accounts Payable (as backup). You will be part of a highly professional accounting team in our Fort Lauderdale office. We have a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and review invoices and billing documentation.
- Maintains customer relationship and addresses any potential billing issues thru resolution
- Process automated invoices in Project Management software and manual invoices in Excel
- Collection follow-up with the Collection Manager on assigned accounts
- Assist with annual audits and provide back up to external auditors
- Handling of Data Import/Export.
- Adhere to strict month-end timelines
- Special projects and duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills:
- Hands on experience with accounting systems. Deltek Ajera, Sage Intacct, or Oracle NetSuite is a plus
- Building Dept Experience
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Verbal Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a must
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be highly dependable and detail oriented
- Positive and Professional attitude
Education:
- 4 year Accounting, Finance, Economics or Math degree preferred
- Basic Bookkeeping and Accounting Skills required
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 year billing/accounting experience and general knowledge of accounting practices and principles.
