The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Supplier Program Manager (Disruptive Computing & Networks) to be based out of Tukwila WA, El Segundo CA, Fairfax VA, Annapolis Junction MD or Huntington Beach, CA. This position will require 25% travel.

Who YOU Are

As a Senior Supplier Program Manager, you will be a part of an amazing and collaborative team working to ensure the continued progress and success of our innovative technology initiatives. A successful candidate in this position has experience working closely with Supplier Management and managing large subcontractors. You are self-motivated, passionate, and driven to successfully meet technical, schedule, and cost goals while overcoming risks. You will work closely with our Supply Chain Organization and Engineering Organizations to manage supplier execution as well as identify new suppliers and support long term procurement strategies.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conducts oversight and management of strategies, performance and development of the largest scaled products and services in the organization.

  • Works closely with Supplier Management on complex technical, business, product delivery, quality and in-service aspects of supplier/subcontractor relationships and performance.

  • Establishes technical and business guidance to meet financial, delivery and product conformity targets.

  • Works closely with Supplier Management to support company procurement and contractual strategies for key suppliers and programs.

  • Identifies key program level horizontal and vertical integration interfaces between major activities, teams, suppliers, partners and customers.

  • Identifies and helps manage all aspects of supplier statement of work, RAA, contractual commitments and performance to support company procurement strategies and contractual compliance and establishes operating plan.

  • Uncovers and resolves issues associated with the development and implementation of operational programs.

  • Directs the development of program recovery acceleration plans, changes and corrective actions.

  • Establishes and communicates objectives and goals to ensure common direction.

This position requires an active U.S. TS/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor degree or higher

  • 4+ years of experience working in Supply Chain Management, Finance or Program Management

  • 4+ years of experience working with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 7+ years of experience in program management within supplier management

  • 10+ years of experience creating, interpreting and/or enforcing technical requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance

  • 10+ years of experience in root cause analysis and Corrective action

  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)

  • 10+ years of experience on an Integrated Product Team (IPT)

Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
