Job Description:

The Senior Logisticians will provide logistics support services assigned to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division. The main support will be focused on the MK 41 Vertical Launching System (VLS), the US Navy’s premier state-of-the-art launching system, its associated equipment, and a diverse array of missile variants such as Standard Missile (SM) All Up Rounds (AUR), Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile (ESSM) AURs, Tomahawk AURs, and future variants under development. The primary job provides integrated product support (IPS) services including but not limited to Ship Change Documents (SCD)/ Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), Ordnance Alterations (ORDALT), and Ship Change Installation Plans (SCIP) deviations, waivers, and Advanced Change Notices (ACN) to address weapon systems integration issues/deficiencies.

• Experience in modeling and computer-based reporting. Demonstrate ability in investigation and resolution of obsolescence issues.
• Experience in Navy ordnance or equipment workload planning development, planning and execution, and written technical reports
• Ordnance Information System (OIS) experience with ESSM and/or Standard Missile and associated equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. citizen with an Active U.S. Security Clearance level Secret
• B.S. or B.A. degree from an accredited college or university or an equivalent education/experience combination in an applicable Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or Business discipline.
• Demonstrate experience in developing written and oral technical reports.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in Navy ordnance or equipment workload planning development, planning, and written technical reports.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrate at least five (5) years of experience in Navy ordnance or equipment workload planning development, planning, and execution, and written technical reports.
• Demonstrate at least five (5) years of Ordnance Information System (OIS) experience with ESSM and/or Standard Missile and associated equipment.

Security Clearance:

Applicants must be U.S. citizen and have an active security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance as specified in the minimum qualifications. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD government-granted security clearance.
