Our ILFS Finance team is dedicated to leveraging OneAmerica’s data to provide insights into the effectiveness, efficiency, and profitability of our ILFS distribution efforts. This includes the roles that support these sales and the subsequent activities necessary to service OneAmerica policyholders. The Senior Financial Analyst, in coordination with the ILFS Finance team and key internal stakeholders, performs various reporting, analysis and visualization functions, along with the corresponding narration.

Primary responsibilities include facilitation of distribution reporting, development of reporting and visualization tools to drive information access, sales and expense forecasting and driving efficiency within the reporting and analysis processes. The analysis, reporting and visualization facilitated by this role supports informed decision-making throughout the ILFS division.

This position will partner with key stakeholders within Distribution, Pricing, Product Development, Data & Analytics, Corporate Finance, and other enterprise functions.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Partner with key ILFS and enterprise stakeholders to develop, understand and influence the KPIs that drive ILFS divisional and enterprise success
  • Collaborate, directly and consistently, with ILFS Distribution, including senior level leadership
  • Coordinate and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual ILFS Distribution sales and recruiting reporting
  • Orchestrate, in partnership with ILFS Distribution, the creation of incentive compensation plans and the reporting to support their administration
  • Ideate, develop and maintain analysis and visualization tools via Tableau and other mediums
  • Perform sales forecasting and variance review activities for ILFS and enterprise leadership
  • Explore opportunities to improve data and reporting efficiency, accuracy and continuity
  • Identify and execute process documentation and process improvements
  • Support ad hoc project reporting and analysis

Educational Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in data, finance, or other business field
  • MBA and/or data analytics professional certification ideal
  • 5+ years’ experience required
  • Experience in the life insurance industry preferred
  • Experience with Alteryx preferred
  • Experience with Tableau preferred
  • Self-motivated energetic individual with a strong degree of intellectual curiosity
  • Strong communication, both written and verbal, and problem-solving/analytical skills
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team
  • Ability to cultivate strong working relationships with both internal and external contacts
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Salary Band: 06B

This selected candidate will be expected to work Hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, WI, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
