SECURITY OFFICER (UNARMED)

Charlotte, North Carolina

Position Vacancy

MG Security Services is seeking unarmed Security Officers to provide security services for a beautiful Class-A Corporate environment. Security coverage is performed 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. We have part-time available for morning shifts, afternoon shifts and overnight shifts.

Applicants must be prepared to perform the following duties and meet the following qualifications:

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide a professional level of service to meet and exceed client expectations
• Weekend availability is a must.
• Proactively identify security related issues and take appropriate action to address
• Respond to incidents, conduct preliminary investigations, and make required notifications including to first responders, when appropriate
• Conduct patrols of the facility to ensure the overall safety and security of the site, its occupants, and equipment
• Prepare Incident Reports, when appropriate
• Perform duty in MG Security business attire as approved by the client and maintain said uniform to ensure a professional image
• Monitor CCTV & staff the security operations center, as required

Qualifications and Skills

• Must possess a valid Unarmed Security Guard License issued by the North Carolina Private Protective Services.
• Maintain appropriate qualifications, certifications, and licenses as mandate by the State of North Carolina to work as an Unarmed Security Guard while employed by MG Security Services
• Must be able to stand, walk, and climbs stairs for extended periods of time
• Must be able to conduct interior and exterior patrols of the complex with exposure to seasonal elements
• Must have a dependable and reliable attendance record
• Must maintain a drug-free workplace
• Must be customer service oriented and be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization as well as visitors and guests of the complex.
• Ability to prepare written reports based upon incidents occurring at the property
• Ability to make decisions with limited supervision
• Work independently
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills
• Computer experience a plus
• Access Control and CCTV usage experience a plus
