Job Location- Newark, California
Job Description
· Seat structure design experience in CATIA Solid Modeling and Kinematics
· Basic understanding of seat mechanisms such as tracks, recliners, and 4-bar linkages
· Understanding of design for manufacturing – stampings, welding, riveting, threaded fasteners
· Good understanding of GD&T, and ability to perform tolerance stacks
· Hands-on experience with assembling and dismantling automotive seats
· Ability to come up with creative (simple) seat structure/mechanism concept solutions
· Ability to perform basic load/effort calculations using free-body diagrams and/or simulation tools such as Enventive
· Experience working with actuators and cables
· Good communication skills
