Role Requirements

  • Proficiently manage the Scrum process for project teams in a cross-functional environment
  • Effectively execute Scrum ceremonies including Sprint planning, developing user stories, grooming/sizing stories, managing/prioritizing project backlog, facilitating retrospectives, and organizing stakeholder demos
  • Mitigate project risks by utilizing Agile/Scrum best practices and effective change management techniquesProduce Sprint reports / analytics
  • Participate in requirements gathering, release and version control, and deployment management as needed
  • Collaborate with project managers to drive the execution of project plans and team assignments
  • Assist with quality reviews and escalate resolution of functional/quality/timeline issues as needed
  • Facilitate and enable communication across the organization and with stakeholders to manage all areas that impact the Sprint.
  • Maintain a high level of trust and confidence with both internal and external stakeholders

  • Up to 5-10% travel
  • This role will be 100% onsite Monday through Friday based out of Irvine, CA.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing, Communications or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of practical experience in Scrum Master work, agile adoption, and/or project management within agile development environments
  • CSM/PSM or relevant Scrum Master Certification
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including ability to effectively work with local and remote teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to establish and cultivate effective cross-functional working relationships with team members, managers, and clients
  • Excellent time-management skills, including the ability to work on concurrent projects and quickly prioritize competing tasks and responsibilities with project manager
  • Highly detail oriented while able to relate those details to the big picture
  • Able to dive deep and quickly grasp complex business flows and user-based requirements
  • Willingness to jump into projects and situations and make sense of ambiguous information
  • Ability to focus on deadlines with a proven track record of managing timelines, budget, and seeing projects though to successful delivery
  • Familiar with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process
  • Familiar with web-based technologies and its use for delivering web/mobile solutions
  • Experience closely interacting with web developers/engineers and designers on a highly collaborative development team
  • Experience and/or expertise in project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft suite)
  • Shared passion for building quality, innovative web/software experiences
  • A love for delivering quality software – and a deep understanding of how to get ideas from the drawing board into code and into the hands of our users
  • This role will be 100% onsite Monday through Friday based out of Irvine, CA.
Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience and certifications.

Irvine Pay Range

$90,000—$160,000 USD
