Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler In office position
Experience working as a scheduler in Home Care Business highly preferred
8am-5pm Monday-Friday
Job Summary
- Ensures that all schedules/orders/requests are received and input in an accurate, detailed manner and properly handled.
- Performs various supervisory activities for scheduling appropriate caregivers to clients, coordinating with clients and/or their families, communicating with clients and/or their families with various changes in schedule or care.
- Monitoring of telephony system, ensure all pay/bill rates are accurate for assignments
- Other responsibilities as needed and other office coordination duties.
Essential Functions
- Answer telephone as necessary; take inquiries or messages utilizing good telephone technique.
- Receive and respond to referrals and service inquiries on the programs offered by this company.
- Schedules and coordinates day to day activities of caregivers and confirms all schedules.
- Supervise, schedule and coordinate day to day activities of the caregivers.
- Assists with redirection and guidance to caregivers as needed.
- Communicate continually with clients and/or families and with caregivers to evaluate service.
- Respond promptly and courteously to all clients calls and initiate calls to clients, families, etc. for thorough communication.
Serve as liaison between associates and Lead Scheduler.
Obtain caregiver availability on a continuous basis for effective utilization of caregivers.
Additional (non-essential) Functions
- Other general office and clerical functions.
- Other duties assigned by the Owner or Lead Scheduler
- Perform on-call coordinator duties as needed
Notes/Special Instruction:
Must work under the direction of the Lead Scheduler and/or Client Care Mgr. to assure that associates with appropriate skills are assigned to individual clients.
