Join us for an enriched summer as the Scenic Artist for the upcoming Interlochen Arts Camp season. This position will assist with the designing, building, and painting scenery for all of our summer theatre productions. Housing and all meals are included with this position. The dates of employment are 6/5/23-8/9/23 and the stipend for this position is $2,380.

Major Responsibilities:

• Provide facility support for Intermediate/Junior theatrical shows
• Assist with dance and guest artist productions as needed

Experience and Skills:

• Must be efficient at multi-tasking
• A collaborative, creative spirit is a must
• Significant relevant experience is required
• Graduate and upper-class college students preferred
• Valid driver’s license is required
• Must be 18 years of age
• Position requires someone who is motivated and a quick learner
• Ability to work occasional long hours and a flexible schedule
• Knowledge of and experience in standard stage production practices is required
• Demonstrated scenic painting experience is required
