We are currently recruiting for an SAP SD Outbound Logistics Functional Analyst. This position will report to the Portfolio Lead – Outbound Supply Chain and is located in Houston, Texas with flexible working hours to include a 9/80 work schedule.

Purpose of Job

• SAP SD Outbound Logistics Functional Analyst is required to provide expertise around Supply Chain Outbound Logistics functional areas and will be responsible for design, configure and development of IT solutions.
• Will research, recommend and develop functional solution design; define business processes improvements, and business objectives with focus on Order-To-Cash (OTC) and integration points in the systems landscape.

Key Accountabilities

• Drives business/functional process optimization by analyzing, creating, modifying, and maintaining sales & marketing and supply chain outbound logistics solutions to meet user needs
• Collects and analyzes information and recommends solutions that aligns with the enterprise architecture strategy
• Ability to conduct requirement gathering workshops, solution prototyping and generating conceptual design documents
• Contribute to the strategy discussions and help convert business process into design and solution
• Responsible for IM (Information Management) service quality for design and configuration making sure all the impacted areas are tested and approved.
• Define and manage governance procedures towards technology change within the Portfolio
• Recommend operational continuous improvement opportunities, service efficiency initiatives and business process improvement to better serve business needs
• Responsible for maintaining quality solution documentation (user stories, solution/logical/physical architecture charts, integration design, detailed technical design artifacts, project plans, test cases)
• Provide post implementation support through service take on process and problem resolution
• Facilitate consistent adoption of best practices, policies, and standards by way of due diligence, technology evaluation and recommendation
• Leads unit and integration testing of configuration changes in coordination with Key Users

Formal Education

• Bachelor’s degree - required
• Computer Science, Informatics, Information Systems, Technology, Industrial Engineering or relevant business qualification - preferred

Working Experience

• At least 8 years relevant experience in implementing SAP ECC SD, LE-TRA and sub systems and vendor solutions like 3PL, Freight Forwarder & Customer Ordering system integration, using EDI/ALE/iDoc based integration technologies
• At least 1 SAP full-lifecycle implementations involving SAP Sales & Distribution and Logistics Execution and cross module integration with Finance, Materials Management & Production Planning
• Sound knowledge architecting End-to-End (E2E) solutions in a hybrid system landscape involving On-Prem and Cloud solutions working in tandem
• Agile/SCRUM principles for project delivery - preferred
• SAP Sales and Service Cloud configuration and Integration - preferred
• Experience on SAP S/4HANA Logistics - preferred
• Knowledge on B2B customer onboarding and data mapping

Required Personal/Professional Skills

• Strong business Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Supply Chain Outbound logistics process knowledge, solution design and configuration experience in SAP Sales & Distribution, Logistics Execution, Pricing and CRM related systems
• Knowledgeable on ITIL processes and IT service management principles as applicable to application support
• Integration experience with other SAP Modules and third-party applications in the OTC (Order to Cash) and Supply Chain outbound logistics space
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with technical peers and key business users
• Knowledge of Power BI, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and AMS Metrics - preferred
• Experience/ Domain knowledge in Chemicals manufacturing business processes (SAP IS-Oil) - preferred
