JOB SUMMARY:
The Sales Coordinator’s primary role is to support the Regional Sales Managers in the field. The Sales Coordinator is often the daily contact that our dealers have with Highwater Marine. The Sales Coordinator position is an extremely important component of our overall sales process and sales team. The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee boat orders from dealer entry through invoicing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • ERP & CRM system usage and application
  • Assist with orders through the ERP / CRM system from order entry through obtaining credit approvals and ensuring shipment and delivery
  • Provides daily customer service and assists in problem solving for our dealer partners and end retail consumers.
  • The Sales Coordinator will be required to work closely with other coordinators, shipping, accounting, marketing, and other disciplines within the organization to provide outstanding customer service
  • Follow existing and/or create new processes to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Respond to general customer inquiries regarding status, issues, or policies
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Flexibility to shift priorities as needed
  • Help execute company initiatives to improve the overall customer experience

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2 or more years’ experience in sales or customer service preferred
  • Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task
  • Must be able to proactively work with Regional Sales Managers and our Dealer Partners
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively
interact with all levels of the organization also required

  • Desire to be pro-active and think critically
Other Skills/Abilities

  • Possess a professional demeanor on the phone, via email, and in person
  • Mechanically inclined is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be willing to become knowledgeable of Godfrey and Hurricane products as well as learn the business from order intake through production and into consumer use.

  • Safety Shoes (When out on the plant floor)
