Following the Henry Specified Selling methodology, our Commercial Restoration regional field sales representatives strive to become the supplier of choice for building owners, contractors, and distributors and other high-level contacts. Reporting directly to the VP, Commercial Restoration the objective of the Sales Support Coordinator will be to contribute to Henry CT sales growth in North America by generating sales demand and pipeline revenue through lead and process development. The role of Sales Support Coordinator will partner with our CR regional field sales representatives to discover new sales opportunities and qualify leads.


What You’ll Do:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with the field sales representatives and sales leaders to become a valued member of the team and the go to person for new leads.
  • Assist the sales team in managing and tracking activities and opportunities in our CRM and as needed provide updates to leads, accounts, and opportunities as they progress through the sales stages.
  • With direction from field sales reps, prepare bid submittal packages, presentations, and sales support materials for prospective customers.
  • Work closely with field sales representatives to develop Territory Plans by identifying territory goals and tracking progress.
  • Leverage your strong communication skills and networking abilities to build trust-based relationships with the sales team and our customers.
  • Support regional sales managers with weekly pipelines dashboards and reports, in addition to ad hoc CRM queries, projects, and initiatives.
  • Support the tracking and reporting of key sales analytics, such as, win/loss ratios, new opportunities entered, pipeline and other performance metrics.
  • Support the implementation of new sales tools and processes (e.g., CRM) including training and post-launch support.
  • Working remotely, ability to communicate a strong sense of accountability and ownership of daily sales support activities to sales team.
  • Attend Sales meetings/trainings as appropriate.
  • Actively seek out and source high-quality leads by mining lead databases to identify, research, qualify, and nurture leads for the field sales representatives.
  • Make outbound calls to existing and new contacts to pre-qualify leads and set up meetings with the sales team.
  • Participate in weekly and monthly sales team meetings to review pipeline health and ensure opportunities are advancing through stages.

Requirements

  • At least two years of sales development or inside sales experience.
  • Experience with SalesForce
  • Demonstrated ability to generate reports and other analytics
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, MS Outlook, and other MS Office applications.
  • Superior verbal communication skills, confidence in telephone conversations.
  • The ability to build “trusted advisor” relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, comfort with quantitative information and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Good administrative and organizational skills.
  • Openness to change: ability to work with new teams, evolving processes, policies, and tools.
  • Strong business acumen with a good understanding of the key financial drivers and dynamics related to growth and revenue goals of an organization.
  • A strong work ethic and passionate approach to sales activities.
  • Approximately one trip per month to the field lasting 2-3 days. Also expect some travel upon hire for training and orientation purposes.

Desired Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, construction management, civil engineering, architecture, business administration or a related field is desired.
  • Experience with business-to-business sales is preferred.
  • Familiarity with commercial construction and architectural design specifications will be an advantage.
