Job Description:

• Escort project contractors to the working area.
• Assure the contractors machinery and equipment and ensures it complies with internal EHS requirements.
• Assure that the contractor’s PPE complies with contractor’s regulatory requirements.
• Perform EHS Inspections.
• Inform the Area Manager of any project deviation on safety and environmental.
• Issue Hot Work, Confined Space, Non-Routine Task General Work, permits, Daily Checklist as required.
• Prepare Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) for Mentor (MTG) employees and contractors; conduct Job Hazard Analyses drafting/review with staff and contractors.
• Conduct job walkthroughs with external contractors, Mentor, and Project staff for High-Risk Work (HRW- Open Flame/Hot Work, Confined Space, Elevated Work at Heights, Fire System Impairment, LOTO, Excavations, EHS By-pass) support and EHS assessments.
• Assist in preparing and revising EHS training programs; assist in providing safety training (contractor liaison training, HRW training, Permit completion training, etc.) as needed.
• 5+ years' experience directly related to Safety Inspections, Safety Regulatory, Work, Confined Space, Non-Routine Task General Work, permits among others.
