SAFETY & FRAUD PREVENTION COORDINATOR- OFFICE STAFF (MAC DISCOUNT)
JOB OVERVIEW:
M@C Discount buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Safety & Fraud Prevention Coordinator ensures company and governmental compliance of all warehouses through training, consultants, and audits. This position also assists the finance department in detecting and reducing fraud risks proactively. This position reports to the Controller.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage recording and reporting OSHA incidents.
- Collaborate with HR on WC claims
- Manage, schedule, and audit employee safety training
- Liaise with outside safety consultant
- Perform internal safety and recordkeeping audits and complete/correct as necessary
- Discipline all employees for safety infractions and non-compliance
- Ensure notification posting (OSHA posters, WC panel, etc.) compliance in all locations
- Review customer account activity to mitigate fraud risks
- Flag suspicious accounts for review and follow up as needed
- Other tasks as assigned by Management
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be available to work 8 hours Monday through Friday in the Butler office
- Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
- Must have High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
- Previous fraud prevention and/or safety compliance experience is preferred
- Must have valid driver’s license and proof of insurability
- Must be able to manage projects from inception to completion
- Must have excellent organizational skills
- Willing to work overtime as needed
- Must work well independently and self-motivated
