As a Break Nurse you will work 8-hour shifts, relieving other registered nurses during break and meal periods - providing essential coverage across multiple units. Qualifications:
Education
- Graduate of approved nursing program required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- Consistent demonstration of competent clinical nursing practice proficiency required
RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required
BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification required within 180 days of hire or transfer into position
PALS - Pediatric Advance Life Support Certification required within 180 days of hire or transfer into position
CHS HealthStream Course
BAC - Basic Arrhythmia Course required within 180 days of hire or transfer into position
NIHSS - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Exam required within 180 days of hire or transfer into position
