RETAIL CASHIER AND CUSTOMER SERVICE

We are a Native American family-owned growing business operated on the Swinomish Indian Reservation near Anacortes, WA. We are creators, designers and manufacturers of our own Native American blankets with meaningful art. We proudly retail and wholesale Native American/Northwest gifts from our shop and through social media, online, mail order; we are considered the largest in the Northwest. We wholesale our blankets to various other businesses, i.e., Native Tribes, organizations, retail gift shops, etc. which we are continually soliciting for new business. Our wholesale business services both the US and Canada.

We are seeking a very energetic person or two with a great positive attitude and willingness to work toward continued growth. Depending on talents, skills and availability this job description, days and hours may be readjusted to fit a new hire.

Job Description

• Open/Close the store
• Count beginning and end of day cash
• Accurate cash handling abilities
• Merchandise store product
• Answer phones
• Take phone orders and payments
• Follow up with customers as needed regarding payment, shipping info, any customer assistance as needed
• Call customers to solicit sales
• Ability to work on POS system and other basic computer programs
• Assist in shipping and receiving outgoing and incoming product
• Accurately tag and price product

Store hours

• Mon-Sat 9:30 am to 6:00 pm
• Sunday 11:00 am to 5:00 pm

Permanent Part time 20-24 hours per week; Permanent full time 32-40 hours per week

Pay rate between $19.50-20.50/hour DOE

Background/reference check prior to hiring
