At Liv Breads, quality of service is as important as quality of product. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in hospitality; taking that extra step to ensure a customer is satisfied, and a love of great food and coffee!

At Liv Breads we believe in growth from within, and this position has the potential to train into a barista position or shift supervisor position.

We are currently hiring for Retail Associates for both our café at 184 Essex Street, as well as in our kiosk located within The Mall at Short Hills. The ideal candidate has the flexibility to work at both locations.

Liv Breads also offers a generous tip share program to all employees.

Job responsibilities:

• Work as part of a team to provide exceptional and knowledgeable service to customers
• Package bakery products
• Pack customers' purchases
• Heat products
• Assist with store opening and closing
• Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation requirements

Skills and qualifications:

• Ability to work in a team environment, understanding that hospitality requires flexibility, cooperation, and professionalism
• High energy and engaging personality; professional demeanor
• Ability to work on your feet for an extended period
• Ability to stay calm and focused in a busy environment
• Available to work flexible hours that are required by the food service industry
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Experience in a similar customer-facing position or food service industry is preferred
• Have a passion for delicious and quality coffee, breads and baked goods!

Open since August 2018, Liv Breads, with three retail locations in Millburn, Short Hills and Englewood, has built a reputation for quality and consistency of product and service. Our specialty is artisan sourdoughs, laminated pastry, and fresh and creative seasonal sandwiches and salads.
