Overview:
We are looking for a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide whom would provide personal cares to improve and/or maintain the residents’ physical and emotional well-being.
This caregiver schedule includes;
Nine Mile Creek Senior Living Community offers a total of 93 units; Independent, Assisted and Memory Care. Our community is located in Bloomington, Minnesota next to the natural and rejuvenating setting of Moir Park with all the culture and entertainment of the Twin Cities just minutes away. As well, we are close to public transportation. Responsibilities/Job Description:
- Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package for RAs with excellent benefits and hourly wages ranging from $20.90 - 26.00 / hour . Wage determinations will be based on related experience.
- Shift differentials are additional pay for evening/overnight shifts worked.
We are looking for a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide whom would provide personal cares to improve and/or maintain the residents’ physical and emotional well-being.
This caregiver schedule includes;
- .6 FTE or 48 hours per two weeks
- Evening shift: 2:15pm - 10:00pm
- every other weekend rotation and rotating holiday

Responsibilities/Job Description:
- Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.
- Under direction of Nurse provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Performs specified home services as needed such as laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
- Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff
- Other duties as assigned
- Assists with onboarding of new staff
Required Skills
- If under 18, must be on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry
- Ability to communicate effectively, with empathy and compassion for residents and coworkers
- Ability to work in a team setting and support others
- Ability to work with a diverse and elderly population
Preferred Education/Experience/Skills
- Previous work experience or formal training/education as HHA, CNA, NA, DSP, PCA or similar preferred
- Work experience in a customer service setting preferred
