Action Staffing Solutions is seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians in a variety of facilities throughout Colorado.

Position Summary:
In this position you will provide health care, personal hygiene maintenance and an active learning atmosphere in a safe and healthy environment for developmentally disabled and mentally ill individuals. Schedules for this position will cover 24-hour treatment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

• Registered Behavior Technicians assist in the delivery of behavior analytic services for residents implementing programs directly with residents and trains data collection systems, and behavioral interventions to direct support professionals.
• This position promotes active treatment through implementation of skill acquisition programs for the residents served and recommends changes needed to benefit the resident, responding to a variety of situations including medical and behavioral emergencies.
• Completion of required training as assigned
• Report all incidents, accidents, or potential hazards in accordance with established policies
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
License, Certification, Education:

• BLS/CPR certification is required
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Registration as a Registered Behavior Technician, credentialed as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through the Behavior Analysis Certification Board
• Skills testing prior to hire and annually is required.

Experience: Two (2) years of professional experience working in a behavioral health setting, or with adults with developmental disabilities. Previous experience training others in ADL/Life Skills, implementing formal and informal active treatment and implementing and documenting individual care plans preferred.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age
• Flexibility to work all shifts (back to back, weekends, nights, holidays) preferred
• Must complete the onboarding and hiring process including application(s), documents, competency testing, background investigation(s) and drug screening
• Backgrounds must be clear of any felony convictions
• Certifications and Licenses including a current valid unrestricted driver’s license
• Must maintain all required licenses, certifications, and health records
• Language: Ability to read, write and communicate in the English language required
• Must have excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to assess situations to make independent, policy compliant decisions
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to serve the population with empathy, while staying objective and assertive. Must be able to work with people of diverse background.
