We are seeking a Full Cycle Talent Acquisition Specialist to partner with leadership to recruit key positions needed to support and sustain the business (CDL B Drivers, Monitors, DOT experienced staff). The Talent Acquisition Specialist manages the applicant tracking systems, executes recruitment campaigns, monitors compliance with screening guidelines and onboarding tasks. Collaborates with the Human Resources and Safety departments improve talent acquisition processes and procedures. Periodically conducts audits and research to improve performance of recruitment campaigns and process efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Responsible for the entire recruiting cycle including contacting, interviewing (Only when Needed) making offers to candidates, and processing onboarding.
  • Support the development and execution of the Hiring & Onboarding strategy
  • Works closely and builds strong working relationships with managers and leaders across the organization to understand current and future needs.
  • Display strong business acumen, staying current on labor market trends and fiscal impact of talent acquisition budget.
  • Create and deliver training on pre-employment tasks, HRIS hiring processes, and onboarding procedures including regulatory guidance requirements.
  • Provide weekly status updates and reports about open positions and recruiting activities to managers and leadership.
  • Follow up and maintain a relationship with candidates through onboarding, training, and the first day of employment.

Competencies

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally.
  • Experience using Microsoft office products.
  • Experience in the continual development of talent pipelines and sourcing potential candidates.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with Video Meeting Tools such as Teams.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking or HR Systems.
