Receptionist

Colonial Heights and Gardens, a not for profit retirement community located in Florence, Kentucky, is seeking a competent, reliable and caring individual for this very important position. A positive attitude and a genuine willingness to serve senior adults, in a compassionate manner, is an absolute must.

Accepting applications for every Sunday, 8:00am – 4:00pm.

SUMMARY

Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department; answers questions about organization & provides callers with address, directions & other information; welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business and announces visitors to appropriate personnel; receives, sorts and routes mail; takes payments for rent of community apartments & other services; performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying and collating; performs resident safety checks as required.

Acts in a courteous, professional manner at all times.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
