Velocity produces “restomod” restorations where vintage vehicles are upgraded with modern parts, drivetrain, and technology making them functionally new while maintaining an original or vintage aesthetic. The company has pioneered a custom classic vehicle renovation via an assembly line process, ensuring a high level of quality control, with a known price, and significantly decreased build time. We have a talented team of 100+ employees and a 135,000 square foot facility where we are continuing to add additional production lines and new vehicle offerings.


Job Description

The Receiving Clerk manages incoming and outgoing deliveries, verifies accuracy, signs for shipments, and coordinate shipment pickups.

HOURS FOR THIOS POSITION: 10am - 7pm Monday - Friday (1 hour Lunch)

Supply Chain Manager


About Your Role

  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Signs for shipments while checking for accuracy and quality of products.
  • Print labels and schedule pickups of outgoing shipped items.
  • Hours and weekly schedule may change due to business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sign for incoming deliveries.
  • Receive items on purchase orders into the MRP system (QuickBooks)
  • Research vendor invoices and discrepancies.
  • Match orders with packing lists.
  • Attach barcode labels and assign locations in the MRP system.
  • Ensure accuracy by matching item codes to purchase orders.
  • Verify that products arrived in good condition.
  • Maintain invoices and related documents.
  • Put away incoming and return floor parts.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items received.
  • Team minded with an always willing to help attitude.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive.
  • Demonstrated consistency, accuracy, and follow-through.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift and parts picker.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to work.
  • Background check and pre-employment drug screening required.

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a logistics role
  • Experience working with a CRM and inventory management software programs
  • QuickBooks knowledge is preferred

Physical Demands (to include but not limited to)

  • Must be able to lift, carry, and place merchandise and supplies up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Must be physically able to operate a variety of equipment including computer, office equipment, telephone, etc.
  • Frequent standing and walking for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to navigate through various departments of the organization’s physical premises.
  • Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting.
  • Ability to work in hot or cold temperatures for long periods of time.
  • Safely operate a motor vehicle.
