Job description
Receive equipment, maintenance supplies, and merchandise for maintenance and plant use. Issue requisition tickets so replacement parts are ordered. Keep accurate inventory so materials are available when needed. Make deliveries to other buildings within the company. Ship equipment out for repair or replacement.
Job Functions:
- Receive Materials: Receive materials daily and accurately against packing slips and purchase orders. Investigate discrepancies.
- Requisitions: Issue requisitions into the computer daily making sure they are correct with proper work orders and MW numbers. Convert items to be ordered for replacement.
- Inventory: Keep accurate inventory and sufficient supply of equipment and materials for repairs and running of the plant.
- Ship Equipment: Prepare and ship equipment when items need repaired or exchanged. Create transportation form and work with third party to arrange shipment.
- Assisting Personnel: Helping maintenance and operators locate and/or order items that are needed to run the plant
Skills/Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Two years of working in manufacturing plant or maintenance knowledge is preferred.

Computer knowledge of researching and entering data.
Have a forklift license or pass required testing to obtain a forklift license.
Mechanical knowledge of parts and equipment very useful.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Forecasting knowledge and experience.
- Communication skills
- Use of office equipment and Microsoft programs
