Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direction of the department supervisor, assists the Technologists efficient workflow in the department and with the comfort and care of patients.

• Prepares the Imaging room with necessary supplies and equipment for the diagnostic procedure.
• Performs clerical duties as necessary for all diagnostic procedures.
• Demonstrates knowledge of basic computer skills.
• Communicates in a clear and concise manner.
• Interacts professionally and effectively with medical staff, patients and families.
• Assists the technologist with patient care responsibilities.
• Transports patients to and from the procedure room an assists technologist in transferring and the observation of patients.
• Performs other related duties as required.
• Sends for patient when directed by technologist.
• Assist with Patient Satisfaction and ED & Inpatient wait times
• Cleans equipment daily.
• Replenishes O2 tank supply and handles O2 equipment safely.
• Stocks linen and keeps blanket supply replenished in warmer.
• Provides assistance as needed to fulfill patient and other customer requests.

EDUCATION

• 
  High School diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

• 
  One-year related experience preferred.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
