Job description

Analyze and review all outgoing products to guarantee that that they all meet quality expectations. Will perform regular product evaluations and record inspection results. Must demonstrate great attention to detail with excellent technical and math abilities. Evaluate quality control processes and make recommendations for improvements in quality control and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.

Skilled use of specific inspection tools, including calipers, micrometers, surface gauges, height gauges, and bore gauges.

Measure product dimensions, examine functionality and compare the final product to the specifications.

Measure using micrometers and calipers.

Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.

Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.

Evaluate quality control processes and make recommendations for improvements in quality control.

Ensure that the company’s manufacturing processes are in compliance with all government laws and regulations.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years inspecting machined parts.

Knowledge of metal fabrication and machine tool technology processes.

Impeccable attention to detail and problem solving capabilities.

Experience on a CMM is a plus.
