The Opportunity:

We currently have a great opportunity for a Quality Manager to join our rapidly growing organization. The Quality Manager manages the company's Quality function across all Trescal US locations. You will play a leading role in creating and overseeing the organization's customers and quality objectives. This position will report to the Director of Operational Excellence.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensures Compliance to ISO/IEC17025, ISO 9001 and any other quality standards adhered to by the company.
  • Ensure customer specific contractual QMS requirements are documented and achieved.
  • Maintain all necessary accreditations or certifications by pro-actively ensuring preparedness for audits and audit responses.
  • Manage, update and maintain the quality systems in line with business and customer requirements.
  • Monitor production and quality processes and troubleshoot any errors
  • Research and gather client and customer feedback for ways to improve services
  • Track, record, and maintain quality assurance data
  • Trains employees in work methods and procedures.
  • Establish a standardized system for all documents.
  • Responds to customer inquiries should their level be required.
  • Maintains the technical library.
  • Prioritizes workload and flow to accommodate turn-around times.
  • Manages the hiring and training of the Quality department.
  • Organizes and oversees the work and schedules
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or other related field
  • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance
  • Good understanding of ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 requirements
  • Proven experience of managing ISO 17025 quality management systems preferable.
  • Detail-oriented
  • Background in test and measurement instrumentation is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and team oriented.
  • Ability to travel 20%
